I just reinstalled a motor and didn't take notes on the automatic shifter cable , I removed it from the inside car shifter. Now the cable reaches its destination to the screw the nut back on but the black large round part that gets put in the metal bracket to stop cable movement is short by a couple inches so I can't sit it inside the bracket. Anyone give me a step by step?

ALSO when routing the automatic shifter cable does is go ABOVE the subframe or UNDER ?? I put it above the subframe looking up from the UNDERCARRIAGE but I think it goes under anyone can take a quick look under their car and LMK?
