i was looking for carbon fiber hoods for a DC. and i was wondering from everyone at H-T.com what kind would everyone recommend using and who makes the best in quality and fitment. if anyone could help me this.

i hear alot of good things about VIS hoods...
my friend has one for his civic...it's niiiiiice

 

vis or spoon a couple of my buddies have the spoon, good quality and fit. but pricey

 

i saw some vis hoods and they are but its not that much of a weight savings. I always hear good things about fiber images but they are pricey. I guess you get what you pay for? i dunno i cant even decide on a cf hood

i had fiber image and vis..depends what you want, fiber image light as hell, but quality is crappy, dull and the edges starts to bubble or water gets under the clear coat. VIS, nice job but heavy and i notice the glue that holds the support and the hood together starts to stink and break off

 

i have a FI hood, no complaints

 

fi seems to be a hit or miss
vis seems good to me
