EK hatch wire tuck... How to tuck A/C lines?
I'm in the process of doing a wire tuck on my EK hatch. I'm trying to clean it up a bit but keep some of the things that make my car what it is. I don't want to get rid of the A/C or powersteering. I'm going to keep the power steering lines the way they are but I want to tuck the A/C lines. I have an idea of what I want to do but wonder if anyone has any hands on experience with this.
Also going to paint my bay while i'm in the process. Not sure what color yet tho..
Here is a pic of it as I was stripping everything off.

And before I started messing with it.

there really arent to many options for the ac lines being that they are hard lines the best look is to delete the and put a faster motor in that way if u get hot just hit the gas alittle
for the power steering, i would suggest just throwing a manual rack in it. i got one i could part with from a 97 hatch. pm me if ur interested.
I'm probably just going to keep the p/s. I know that doesnt really accomplish a FULL wire tuck but I'd rather still have it.

Whatever you do, take your time and do it right. Make sure all connections are properly soldered and covered with heatshrink/cable loom. Too many folks rush into a wire tuck job and the results are these numerous "finished a wire tuck, this doesn't work" threads. Rome wasn't built overnight.
from the compressor, thru the bumper cover. over to the passenger side...the rest is on you lol.
anything is possible. you would need to find an ac shop (i work in one) that also makes its own hoses and talk to someone there .
any of your lines that have rubber in them would have to be re-done much longer.
honda ac fittings are very particular so it would be best to modify the lines you have.
the added length of hose kind of throws off all of your ac specs, how much oil to add, how much freon as well.
you would need to pop the motor back in your ride to mock things up.
