Default Bad wheel hop from Bad shock?

Recently ive noticed bad wheel hop and thumping sounds coming from my front passenger rim. I checked all the ball joints, bushings, tie rods, axles, and everything is fine. I have new hasport motor mounts so i know thats not the problem, new avid tourque mounts. So i took it too my friends dad's shop so he can look at it. We lifted it up n saw that the front passenger suspension was acting weird. I have Ground control sleeves on tokico blue shocks. We noticed that the shock seemed very easy to move going up n down like with one hand i can push the tire back up to the fender with ease. Also he was saying that my setup was wrong? because my spring wasnt compressed like my spring was stuck to the top while the thing u move to adjust the ride height was not under the spring there was a 2" gap i told him that was normal because im pretty low. My main question is having a bad shock cause wheel hop? Because that tire was fairly easy to move up and down.

Bad shock and bad aliment can cause wheel hop. Double check your lower ball joints as well being that many times they can be warn out. You can check by putting a pry bar on the lower control arm and pry up onto the knuckle near the ball joint to see if there is up and down movement of the ball joint.

Another good investment would be going to a better shock coil-over setup and traction bars

I did the whole pry bar thing n its all good. I think its my motor mounts causing more wheel hop. I have 70a mounts n avid torque mounts so it causes more wheel hop. So im guessing im going to get a k tuned traction bar n see what happens and get it aligned again. How are the ETD/k tuned traction bar? and also the whole front mount for a b series is it a good setup?

The mounts that you have should actually prevent wheel hop being that you motor will have much less rocking movement. Personally I have only used the traction bars from Full-Race both in a CRX and Integra which I was very happy with. I've heard good things about the K-tuned as well though.
