He means there are 3 basic catogories to modifing a car.

You can be CHEAP and FAST but it wont be RELIABLE.
You can be RELIABLE and FAST but it wont be CHEAP.
or
You can be RELIABLE and CHEAP but it wont be FAST.

So figure that out and then use Google. It is your friend. Trust though that not everything you will find will be true. My personal experience a quality intake, header, exhaust combo with a decent set of cams and Hondata tune will make it fun and reliable for the daily grind. Anything beyond that I myself have no experience. I'm a B series kinda guy lol

I would recommend staying away from those cheap plugs and stay with the specific NGK spark plugs intended to your model. Synthetic oil is a good choice for small hp gains as well longer longevity of your engine. It will reduce friction and lubricate your internal rotating parts more efficiently.

Personally I have always used Torco SR-1 in my street cars and Torco SR-5 in my race car. Here is a link for more info: Torco Oil

As for other performance upgrades what is your budget and goals?

A bit of advice for you.. keep it as it is right now cause I can tell you know very little about the car..keep it maintained and serviced and stick around here. Read threads and search google.save money for when you know exactly what you want out of the car

If you are in the market for a header for your H22 a good option would be to invest on a Bisimoto header to get some serious results

Here is a lightly modified and tuned Prelude

JDM H22, stock
AEM V2 Intake
Bisimoto V2 Header
440cc injectors
S300
Electric exhaust cutout, on 2.5" exhaust
Result: 196.4whp and 154.6ft/lbs of torque with the cutout open; 191.1whp and 148.1ft/lbs with the gate closed.
