Default Speedometer Issue

Hi!

I have a civic 95 EX
I noticed that like after driving for about 1 hour or more the speedometer starts to fail up to stop working. I seems it is when th engine has been working for a while or when it is "hot". After the engine cools up it works normally. What can be happening? Speed sensor issue?

Example: normal driving to home (45 minutes) no issue. Driving home with traffic jam (1 hour or more) where the motor works more speedometer fails.

Default Re: Speedometer Issue

Bad speed sensor possibly. I know for mine, it was the solder joints in the spedometer becoming erratic with the change in temperature. For example my spedometer would get eratic on days it was cool starting out and then work fine for a bit afterwards.
