List of paint kit companies?
Was curious if there was a site where I could find a list of paint kit companies where they compared prices and quality of the finished product.
I'm attempting all the bodywork on a honda del sol myself and will be buying the paint myself. I have a friend who paints on the side and rents a paint booth and does great work from the pictures and videos I've seen.
I read the stickies and didn't see much for what I was looking for. Does anyone here have experience with paint kits and some they would reccomend? I've seen some for 300 dollars and some for 600 dollars. I'm looking to get there car on the road before the end of the year with a motor and paint so I'm not looking to spend a ton. I can afford to put about 800 a month into the car if that helps. Right now the car is read with a black door and gray/primer bumper with about 3 colors of sun damaged red.
Thanks in advance.

Go to a local paint supplier and see what they tell you. They'll know what is available and can even offer warranties on their products.
If you're looking online, most of the cheaper stuff is rebadged kirker. To look at kirker kits: http://www.smartshoppersinc.com/.
I've had good luck with http://www.thecoatingstore.com/. I bought some single stage from them and it layed down pretty well and had a nice deep shine. They also offered me a 10 year warranty on their paint if I used their products from epoxy up to clear. Their kits are about 400 dollars with the MS clear. With a HS/Glamour clear, it goes to about ~430. When I do my full repaint on the civic, I'm going with thecaotingstore stuff.
Then there is always omni, limco, centari, ect which you will find locally.
