Car will only rev to 4700 rpm then hits 2 step launch control in every gear

Wth man I fix my car then I go to drive it & it'll only rev to 4700rpm then it just hits the launch control. Whats my culprit, wasn't doing this before

Sounds like limp mode. Check engine light on?

I had an ECU go bad on me....did this except it was @ 3700rpm

may be limp or speedo cable i had the same problem my speedo cable would come loose at 3k

Which cable is the speedo cable? Do you mean the actual cables on the backside of the speedometer itself

this happen to me too, but it was my thermo. was broken and would run cold all the time.

yep sounds like limp mode. but if no cel.
then i would start pointing fingers on your vss(speed sensor)

WTF are you guys talking about. 92+ Hondas don't have a speedo cable!

Since your CEL is on, then you know your ECU is in limp mode. If you want to know what the problem is, go dig up a paperclip and get back to us after you get the code...
