This thing is badass, and it's going for less than the amount of money put into it! God I wish I had the money. Check this beauty out.

It has nothing to do with the parts. It is how they displayed them. Did they really need to paint the car that way? And asking for $25,000 on a salvaged title.... really? You can't even insure the car for theft.

This car is not my style by any means. I do personally think the car is over the top, but that is just my opinion.
However, this car is not rice by any means. A car where every performance aspect is covered, can not be a riced out car. This car was up for sale on s2ki and got all positive reviews. Even if you don't particularly care for the style (myself included), if you are a car enthusiast at all you must respect the attention to detail in this car.

You can insure it, the insurance company will just give you the amount that the car is valued at when the first claim was submitted.
meaning... if the car was valued at $20,000 when it first was a total loss, but was sold from the insurance company for $10,000... it's now valued at $10,000... and whatever happens to it will be based on that value.

First off, I am not trying to argue, just prove a point that this car is not rice. Saying that it is not your style is one thing, but calling this car a rice bucket is blasphemy. A "rice burner" is typically a car that is all show and no go. If you would read the extensive list of parts on this car, it would become quite apparent that this car is well built. As stated above, very little work (if any) work would be needed to make this car a complete track monster.

The car ain't my cup of tea, but you cant Knock the craftsmanship. It looks well put together.
I agree with you. I don't think this S2000 is that bad. You could easily sell the parts you don't want and fix it up for some track time.
