My 94 integra LS is not running right for some reason? I pump a full tank of gas and I am only getting 150miles out of it.. Aint I suppose to be getting 300 plus miles with this motor? It doesnt burn oil or anything.. I'm thinking that it has to do with my gas lines.. maybe the fuel pump or fuel filter.. IDK, these are just my guess.. My car also chokes a lot on first gear: not the tranny but seems like its not getting enough gas for some reason.. can anybody help? please!

 

do a tune up, usualy the fuel filter or wires or injectors have something to do with this

 

Miles per gallon would be a much better statistic to go off of than miles per tank, especially with how bad the fuel sensor is in our cars. What's the actual MPG, averaged over a few tanks? (This is something everyone should be keeping track of, for early issue detection.)

If the engine is otherwise running correctly, driving habits (including conditions driven in) play the largest part in mileage observed. Alignment and tire pressure play large parts too.
