First Track Day, Some pics and Video
Last Saturday i decided to take my car out to a track event. Since this was my first ever track day, i had to take a Drivers Training Course the night before. It was a 3 hour course. Learned some things i had not thought about before. All it all the Class was good to go to.
My car has always been a Street car, Mainly a Drag car.. But after this weekend i plan to do some more Track days.... It was a Ton of Fun and i seemed to catch onto it well.
The car is totally not set up to Road Race, the 62mm turbo and lack of suspension defiantly did not help but i made it all work lol... I had the car at 400whp for the day since thats the lowest the power will go to... The car Runs on E85 and tuned for mid to low 11's AFR....
I have 205/50/15 Nitto Neo Gen tires (280 treadware) and Maxspeed coilovers on stock shocks for suspension.. The Hawk HP+ seemed to work ok for me, but i think once i start pushing the car some more with better tires i will need some better ones! I plan to keep everything how it is right now, and change things little by little..
My Instructor had good things to say about me.. 2 things i need to work on:
1. Need to get passing done earlier on straights
2. Needs to work on braking with brakes not the motor...
Ive got a Sheet that he filled out saying what i need to work on and what i was doing good at etc.....

I think you told me this 3+ years ago Myles haha. You know we will take care of you when your wallet gets some cash in it :p I told you I would honor the price I gave you years ago! Just stop by the shop whenever your ready. I havn't seen you at Crossfit lately? Have you been going?

And i went last night, but that was first time in the last 3 weeks. Just been so busy with the new job, no time!
