First Gen CR-V suspension differences

I'm not a CR-V owner, but have a quick question.

Is the front suspension in a first generation CR-V the same for the front wheel drive and the 4 wheel drive models? Interchangeable?

Yes it is. Its actually the same as civic/integra stuff...just 2 inches longer lol.

Hey thanks for the replies, guys!

Would you recommend a bushing kit for the front suspension for a "better than stock" bushing... perhaps Poly or something similar?

Why would you want stiffer suspension in a CRV?? If anything softer is better.

Who said anything about stiffer suspension? I just want to replace worn bushings, and if there is something better than OEM I'd like to know. The CRV has 200k+ miles on the chassis.
