Hi, just a little help on this issue! The interior gadgets on my '98 Honda Prelude will not turn on, the cooling fan, radio, turn signals, and panel gauges wont turn on either. My windows won't go up. Exterior and Interior lights work but won't turn off when I turn off my car. The shifter will move from parking but won't let me shift back to parking without pressing the by-pass button. Can some one PLEASE, PLEASE, help me out on this???

 

So the car starts? is this car a new purchase? or you've had it for awhile

could be a number of things. For starters check for any loose grounds. Make sure you have a god battery, then move onto checking the harness's and be sure they're all plugged in (if the car had anything swapped previously). Probably move onto main relay or ecu issue from there....

 

check you fuses. there's also might be a problem with your ignition key cylinder or ignition switch though honda still have the recall case open for 1997-1999 prelude ignition problem. you might wanna check that out

 

replace the alternator fuse under the hood. Should fix it right up
