How To Remove Relay??
The more i work on Hondas the more screwed up i find them to be. How do you remove the radiator fan relay? It bolts to the front passenger side and has a rubber cover over it so you cant see ****. Why couldnt Honda put these relays in a fuse box like anyone with half a brain would do. My dads Ford has a fuse box with all the relays and so does my moms Chrysler. Very easy that way. But here i am wrestling and yanking on wires. Im afraid this will be my first and last Honda ever. No room to reach the fan connector either.
I believe it's just a clip (a bigger one but still just a clip). Unbolt it from the frame and remove rubber cover, it should be easier like that.
You are obviously clueless and make the most pointless threads... Go back to Nissan or whatever you wish... just stop with all this pathetic attempts of bashing everything on here. You act like people on here are strictly Honda people anyways... purchase a repair manual or take your car to the scrap yard because my sides are hurting from laughing about this so much... sad.
If i have a legitamate gripe, i will gripe. If you cant help, then please stay off my posts. Thanks, "24TEN" for your input. The rubber cover is glued and brittle and would have to be torn off. You cant blame me for seeing a better way instead of being content with mediocracy like the above poster.
the thing just unplugs...your having trouble with one of the easiest things to remove on this car. it may take a bit of effort the car is 20 yrs old. tear that rubber piece off if you have to. not a big deal
I fail to see your legitimate gripe.
You can't get the relay off?
Take a shop light, light up the area, look at how it's attached, and FIGURE IT OUT!
You'll never end up being any kind of mechanic if you can't/won't even attempt to figure out the simplest things on your own.
It's fairly obvious by your thread history that you have no experience with ANY cars, rather than just Honda. An engine is an engine and a car is a car, whether they're built by Ford or Nissan, the same principles still apply.
People are here to help, but how do you think you'll do as a mechanic if you can't take off a relay without running to the Internet for help?
