I have an oil leak around the corner of the head where the distributor and vtec solenoid is. Ive been reading about the leak but Im confused because on mine the header trube has oil on the bottom of it to ond down the front of the block aand it even hit my cold air intake tube. I dont use a lot of oil if i stay outta vtec. its not a 1qt a day more like ever 3 weeks if i hit vtec a **** ton. But ive neveer read it being on the header so im confused. Assistance of what seals to replace first or what to check????? i took it to the drag strip ran 12.4 in 1000 ft and noticed after a lot of ******* the issue, noticed it befiore but not that bad.

 

What B16 engine? Post some clear pictures.

 

Run the car, and try to hit the vtec zone (whatever your car hits it) then park it, and check the vtec solenoid and see if oil is pooling under or around it.

 

b16a2 i was told. My first honda. lol laid down 132whp on my dyno run. I did and it was pooling around the cornee of the head and a lill bit on the solenoid on on the bottom on the bolts. and under the header tube it was pooled up on the bolts on one.

 

Replace the solenoid gasket.
