Dsm 450cc blue top injectors on a h23a vtec
i have an 92 honda prelude that i swap an h23a vtec from japan. iam using right now the h23 injectors the car is running a lil rough and when i want to step on it doesnt get the power it should get iam also running a chip p28. can i use Dsm 450cc blue top injectors will they fit?
*shakes head*
So you're using some generic P28 with an H23 VTEC and think injectors that are waaaaayyyyy too big is the answer?!?!
Here's an idea......Go pay someone to tune your car on a dyno and get rid of that generic CHIP junk......

Yes dsm's will fit on a regular h22 manifold which I imagine you are using the the h23v blue top and not the blue top one. P28 crome/neptune, tuned on dyno is the best way to get it running proper.
im running a h23a vtec as well, but im running a p28 with a custom basemap stock injectors.
I have no issues. so im guessing that maybe you should either get a different basemap. or i can email you my basemap. ofcourse you would need to burn it on a chip, or have someone burn it for you.. heres a great site for h22 bin

i order the ecu from madfablab.com go check it out. **** 185 for the ecu and the one wire vtec coming out the ecu for vtec to work. the car idles fine and vtec hit hard but its hesitating a liltle on high rpms and i was told that u cant use the stock h23 injectors on a h23 vtec blue top.

H23V is going to have different fuel maps then a H22. I haven't and would be liery of running anything but a DYNO tuned ecu.
When I install an H23V swap:
1) Start with jdm h22 ecu, let idle if it will idle... check for leaks, fuel pressure etc. Check for codes...
2) Let it idle for a min.
3) Shut Off
4) Purchase P28 crome or neptune
5) Trailer up to dyno.
6) Roll onto dyno
7) Let the tuner do his job
8) Have fun driving it!

To help with your actual problem, you need to get some stock H22 obd1 injectors, those injectors from the si will not flow enough fuel when you are in vtec. As already mentioned, you do need to get a proper tune as well, but you need the injectors first.
ok will do. thanks for all your help.
