Default gsr a/c setup

I have a gsr swap in my eg and I was informed that to keep the stock civic a/c setup all I would need is a 99/00 si bracket. I bought one and the compressor doesn't line up. Is it not an si part or are the gsr mounts different or what? Any help would be awesome.

You can not use an Si bracket, it is made to fit a B series compressor.

You are looking for one of two brackets that fit a d series compressor to a B series engine like a B18C

- dohc vtec honda del sol

- any 97-01 honda crv

Dangit.

So any crv compressor brackets will work? Or are there certain models that I should be aware of? I know very little about the crv, btw.

+1

OP, after you bolt on the compressor, you'll be able to attach the A/C lines together without any confusion.

Also, I hope you still have your bolts because they are like 10 bucks each from dealer.

That sucks that they are so spendy...one is busted. Does the dealer sell the O rings for the lines or should I just go to a hardware store?

I would say go hardware store or your local automotive store for the rings. I don't think dealer carries that.
