Default Told to dp am H2B setup?

If I were to go through all the pain and money for the proccess, what would even be the gain? Is it worth it? Right now I might just go for an lsd, like planned, but if it does a great deal of help, I'll save for it.

No worthwhile advantage in a prelude chassis, and a hell of a headache to try it.

If you need more than a set of ppgs and a good lsd, extralargenog is trying to get Albins to build an H gearset.

Alright, and wow just realized all my spelling mistakes for the topic. I figured it'd cost more than it would be worth, but I couldn't find much for specs on it's gains, and lol btw I like the picture I have one like it, but it won't show for my icon, assuming it's too large.

H2B is a Civic thing

Straight H22 swap into a civic messes with the axle geometry which can cause binding and breaking at higher power levels.

H2B is H22/23 into a civic with a B-series tranny which gives the benefits of proper axle geometry and the ability to use the B-series high ratio LSD trannies, from the CTR and GSR. Even the ITR, but that's a bit more work because those axles are bigger.

The basic idea is to make the H22 swap fit as normally as possible into a Civic.

Getting a B-series tranny into a Prelude, seems more work than its worth, just get your hands on a high ratio Prelude tranny like a T2T4.

Before I get corrected ... I should rephrase what I said, its not just a Civic thing, its a smaller chassis thing. EF/EG/EK, DA/DC etc, I think even some 3g Preludes have been H2B swapped.
Just about anything that acceptes a B-series with all stock Honda parts can do H2B fairly easily.

T2T4 is the same as a 5g stock trans just with a LSD.

Might be confused with the T2W4, awesome transmission for a street car since you can have the best of both worlds, short 1-4 with the same 5th as a 4g Si. Unlike changing the FD of a regular Prelude trans where you lose the highway MPG since 5th gets shorter with the rest of the gears.
