I think he's the #2 qualifier is SFWD. Last update I had was he was still sitting in the staging lanes.

Yesterday was a complete cluster, called to stage at 4, didn't make the pass till 6:30. Rain and the damn rotary cars blowing up every 3rd run made for a huge delay.

Update - He made it to the finals but had to split the pot with Jason Hunt due to running out of time.

Jason's best run of the day was a 9.5X, so if Roger could of gotten a clean run, and they actually had the race, he would of won!

Roger is proof that you don't need a civic or integra to be competitive, and you don't need every high dollar part in existence to win. You'd be surprised how basic his car really is.

 

Na, he's running some $100k race engine(Thats the latest rumor about fast imports from the V8 meatheads).......10yrs ago WE couldn't go fast.....lol

I was wondering what happened last night, damn curfews! They really should have let the big races run, instead of the bracket racers.

Hell, down in Louisiana yesterday, a track shut down for curfew, so the finals were decided by a foot race to the 330' lol

 

What was the record for a Prelude before this one? Awesome time for sure.

I think he has held every record from 10.9x down, just keeps breaking his own records.......Much like Papadakis did at one time with his H series! B)
So many "1st's" I lost count......haha!
IIRC his previous was 9.65, before that low-low 10.....I think the only person that has come close was Oaks.....and their Prelude is retired.

I had a blast saturday, despite literally SITTING on the ground in the staging lanes for over an hour! Then standing or walking around for the other hour or so.

Nice meeting you too Rick, you were looking good! I think if it all fell together, you woulda won that race, but SF made a great showing and hell they drove across the damn country lol.

 

I would of loved to of made it to etown that night to see it.

Very nice. Yeah I remember some 10 years ago @ some event this Domestic lover tells me the only way my Prelude would go that fast is if I swap in a 350 shortblock V8. I hope he sees this! A true replacement for displacement! FTW!
