The other day I was on my way home when I stopped at a stop sign and noticed my car shut off. The oil and battery light were on. I turned it back on and drove home. This happened again at a light the next day; shuts off, oil and battery light come on. No CEL. Now that my car has been parked for 2 days, I noticed a somewhat large amount of liquid coming out the rear. It has been dripping out from the center of the rear, from what I assumed was the fuel tank. The liquid is clear, not gas not oil. I have no idea what it is and what is going on. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

What does it smell like?

 

Water or brake fluid. Agree with above, smell it.

 

It doesnt smell like anything. Clear but seems thicker than water. Car isn't over heating... at least yet. Going to check fluid levels when I get off work. Thanks for replies!
