Wink Mirror mounting In a Del sol?
So ive looked all over honda tech and google combined for a write up of how people manage to fit 5 panel winks in a del sol.
The closet thing i find is a silver del sol with one, and theres a link on the how to but nothing comes up.
could anyone assist me or educate me with some sol literature?

I don't think space was the issue. The actual monting of one was. However I don't see how different it could be from a Civic and there's plenty of write ups on those. Time to get creative OP.

remove your stock review mirror, and screw the wink mirror on the top panel right by your windshield.its not like the civics where you can bolt it up to your stock visors.its pretty simple don't think to hard.
good luck bro

i may be wrong but i believe for the sol's you have to take off your visors to get it to mount properly (not for the window one obviously). may be wrong tho.
Wink mirrors is one of the easiest DIY mods you can do to your car. It's as simple as replacing a shift boot. I have one in my EK and the mounts were direct fit. You need to take off your OEM visors in order to screw in the mounting plates and of course your OEM mirror. Then there is the issue of spacing and using spacers, longer bolts. You can find them in your nearest hardware store. Just mess around with it and don't force anything.
If you searched you would have found this thread. I don't see anyone with a Del Sol having to do anything special to mount it.

you can't see it from the out side that its drilled or can tell.but its the best way i could find with keeping the sun visors.but you can find the adapter that connects from your stock mirror.

I deleted most off topic comments and posts in this thread. From here on out, please focus entirely on providing tech answers to the OP's question. Otherwise, don't post.
No need to drill. I used the sun visor screw to hold it in and be able to keep the sun visors. I took 2 different pictures to give you few ideas how it work. Hope the pictures work.

I added L shaped aluminum bar with JB weld on the back of wink mirror to prevent melting and bend the wink mirror. Then I add the house trim to make some cool style.
Hell, you probably could just epoxy the stock brackets right to the windshield.
If you want a clean look hacking up your car isn't it. Of course, you can always cover those horrible hack marks by covering them with small wire loom with dabs of sticky on the back.
No.
They have wink mirrors that mount the same exact way as the factory mirror except it uses two arms.
You epoxy the metal tabs on the windshield and slide the arms on just like the stock one
And then your mirror wil be fully adjustable too. Not just up and down
