Default turbo integra build

My name is Brian. I am from NY building a 1994 integra coupe with LS turbo setup. I lived in cali for a couple years and will be building this car with heavy west coast style and influence. I bought the car for $2000 with ebay turbo setup on car with gsr wheels. Pulled the engine, brought stock LS head to machine shop. Debating what to do with bottom end.

Since you already have it all out (and if you can afford it) you might as well go ahead and beef the bottom end up a bit with some forged JE or Mahle pistons, rods, arp studs and bolts, acl bearings. At least you would be assured than nothing would go wrong and you would have to tear it all back out.

And after yo build that bottom end, make sure you get rid of that eBay turbo kit. Thats only looking for trouble...

I prefer cp pistons and manley rods over all the rest. Arp head studs are a must too.
Ls head flows like crap, so I would invest in a b16 head at least. They can be had for pretty cheap. If you have the motor out, you might as well do it right the first time.

What type of power are you looking to put down? Because that also has a direct affect on what parts you should be looking at, not to mention other things, such as drivetrain.

I will be building the bottom end and be putting a B16 head on top with ARp studs. I am planning on putting down around 300 to the wheels as a daily to take to a road course. I live on Long Island used to live in Ontario,CA. Worked at penske honda in ontario and norm reeves honda west covina as a tech.
