Default PSA: Flushing power steering fluid w/o making a huge mess

1) Head to lowes/HD/Ace, find 3/4'' Inner Diameter tubing.
2) Purchase ~2.5-3feet of this tubing
3) After detaching the return line from your power steering (the easily assessible one on the side of the reservoir, shove the 3/4" tube OVER the return line.
4) Stick the downstream end of that 3/4" tube into a bucket/container

And boom, just flush the system as you normally would, and it should be relatively neat.

My steering was relatively floaty prior to flushing my ps fluid. Making quick lane changes were always unnerving, it just felt like the car was sitting on marshmellow suspension. All the bushings were intact, the tie ends were just replaced, alignment is fine, tire pressures were stock, rack end was adjusted with that 40mm wrench. The last thing left was PS fluid (which had never been flushed), and it seemed to have done the trick.
