'97 or '98 R
just looks.. the 97 does have an attractive clean rear window....
but the 98 has the bumpers and all red tailights...

There are very minor differences between the two years.
1997 had No rear window wiper/squirter, different front bumper and rear bumper
1998 had the "sleeker" front bumper and more aggressive looking rear bumper,
For me, it doesn't really matter since they are both CW and we all know CW ownz!

97..... they're more rare than the 98's....
Down here in Springfield, we have
1 Turbo 97 CW
1 Turbo 98 CW
1 All motor 00 PY (mine)
1 Riced out 01 PY
I've got to say, besides mine, I like the 97 the best.......

Yeah i would like to find a stock one with decent mileage (a 97) and keep it mostly stock except for maybe a J's racing intake or something of that sort. I will try to find exactly how many were made...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the '97 ITR OBD-I? And OBD-II started with the '98 models? So you can make a little more power with the OBD-I since the OBD-II is stricter on what you can do to your engine....
