f22a(jdm) and f22a4 waterpipe
replacing my old f22a4(manual) with a jdm f22a engine(auto)
when installing the clutch cable to the transmission i notices the waterpipe on the f22a was aim down and toward the firewall more then the f22a4 which aims more up and is closer to the engine.
the pipe for thee f22a sits right above the clutch cables basically touching it. im guessing i need to switch the pipes since installation of the thermo will be difficult now.
if this is true will regular rtv gray be good enough to seal the waterpipe where it goes into the engine. anything else i need to know wehn removing and reinstalling a water pipe?
