what spark plugs are you guys using in your R's
metal ones
... Just the copper version of the stock ones, cheaper, SUPPOSEBLY they are more powerful, BUT they only last around 10,000 miles

Blah, you guys spend way toooo much on plugs.
I spent 1.99 each on Champion RC12MC4.
And my car feels great. very clean throttle response.

those plugs are what i used to use as well, just switched to the platinums to see if they really do last longer. so far gas mileage is slightly better but nothing to brag about

all i want to know is what plugs are being used by the guys with CTR pistons and JUN3's(or other high CR setups). Are you running hotter or colder than stock plugs and using platinum or copper?
JUNIII/High comp go a heat range hotter. Also i just replaced my cap and rotor and plugs here about a week ago. When I called my local Honda dealer about stock plugs for a 99 Civic Si i knew they would be platinum, but didn't know they would be Denso's? Anyone? Is there an NGK alternative from the dealership. I just went ahead and got some NGK coppers for the time being because i wasn't in the mood for $40 for plugs. When i went in and asked for factory plugs for a 98 Prelude for my friend they came back with NGK platinums, why denso's for me? I know they make a lot of factory parts for Honda as well.
