Hello, My honda accord has been acting up lately. When its parked, it idles fine, but when im driving and i apply the brakes to come to a complete stop, it drops rpms from 500 to 200-300 then in a few seconds it goes back to 500. Also when its idleing, i found out that if i rev it up to 3000 rpm, it drops down to 200rpm and it feels like its going to turn off.

Please let me know what you think.

 

Its your idle control valve its acting up. If you go to the 1990-2000 faq it has a thread on how to clean it
