98' acura 1.6el 2300$ good deal?
hey guys im wondering if this car i just looked at isa good deal. its the premium package with all leather and sunroof. have a rebuilt motor and the compression test i did was 180 across the board. new winter tires. theres some scratches on the body and a LITTLE bit of rust. also the underniether of the car seems to be in decent shape with a little surface rust.
things i noted:
-the rear passenger window is super slow to roll down/up and stops half way sometimes.
-trunk has damage from being keyed.
-handle for the hood release is broken off. need to use pliers
-clutch pedal is really stiff(stiffer then my 97civic cx) thinking un-sprung clutch?
-the stitching in drivers seat is coming undone.(hes gonna get it fixed)
-and some minor rips in leather also
-the plastic interior door handles have the crome layer coming off
im mostly concerned about the clutch and the window. anyone know home much that would be to fix? im pretty mechanically inclined.

He's talking about the EL, not the TL. The EL is a Domani which is essentially a 4 door Civic with leather seats, but the front end looks similar to a 97 Accord and the tail end looks similar to a 98 Accord.
IMO, $2800 is too much for a car that old with that many kilometers, but if it's priced fairly in your are and you like it, then go for it. You'd be better off asking this question in a local forum though because different regions command different pricing which is why you'll get mixed answers.
