Slammed with rear knuckle/arm

I just picked a 96 4dr ex, its my first accord.... looks to me if i slam the rear the tire is going to hit the rear knuckle

is this true, if so whats everyone doing to prevent this?

the knuckle moves with the wheel/tire... if you lower it, the tire will come no closer to the knuckle only closer to the wheel well.
