Transmission fluid/check/leak question
I have a '95 Civic Coupe that i just picked up recently.
Last week I changed the engine oil and noticed a leak where the transmission bell housing and engine mate. The oil is light tan or clearish so it's not engine oil. It appears to be fresh and it leaks quite a bit; there's traces of the oil going all the way back and onto the exhaust and after I wiped it down I noticed quite a bit of accumulation a week later.
My guess it it's transmission oil but

My guess it it's transmission oil but
- how do you check it? I can't find a dipstick
- what fluid do you use normally?
- where could the leak be coming from? I can't see anything obvious on the outside of the engine/transmission
