Default Oil or coolant

I took the radiator out of my 92. When I pulled the transmission lines they leaked oil not coolant. Is this right or do i have a problem???
Thanks

Sounds like you are WAY over due for a trans fluid drain.

That should be right. The radiator has an oil cooler built in where the transmission fluid flows through from the ATF transmission lines. Coolant doesn't flow through the transmission like it does through the engine.
