Do you people know the top speed of the y1 tranny when you rechipp the pwo ecu and take out the speed limit??thnx guys

well i have a b16 with that dam y1 tranny and i just got home. on the way home a lude passed me on I-435 so i drop it to 4th and get up next to him give him some rev so he dropes a gear and where off i get to that dame speed limiter and im done the lude is gone. Well anyway in 5th at 7k rpm im at 115mph with the speedlimiter so with another 1200 rpm saying you wont to go up to your redline i would say about 125mph some where in there.
Thats alot of **** jest to say 125mph.

 

Thats odd...I have a Y1 on my stock LS motor and stock PR4 ecu with i/h/e...5th gear I havent reached rev limiter yet and speedo is pegged on 125 mph...rpm probably close to 6500. Rev limiter is set to 6800.

 

I have gotten up to like 134(6600) in my S1 with like 1600 rpms more to go b4 limiter. i'd say u should be able to reacxh 140 est.

 

I put the rev/speed meter in my car to get rid of the speed limiter
