Weird Cruise Control issue with 2003 Civic Si
Hey guys, long time lurker but first time poster -- let me know if I'm forgetting something. My background consists of working extensively with everything Subaru related and I am the go-to guy for wire harness merges and swaps in my area. I have a ton of experience with those cars so I'm not just some clueless guy when it comes to vehicles. I am, however, brand new to the world of Hondas and the only experience I have with these cars (other than basic maintenance) is replacing blown struts.
Anyways, I was home this weekend from school and noticed on the drive back to my school, I noticed that I couldn't accelerate with the button anymore. I was able to do it fine on my way home on Friday but it was not working tonight when I drove back to my place near the university. Being the curious person I am, I decided to test out all of the cruise buttons on the steering wheel. This is what I discovered:
Resume/Accel: Doesn't work at all.
Cancel: Does not cancel, but will Set/Decel when held.
Set/Decel: Works fine.
So the Cancel button is replicating the Set/Decel function, I have no buttons to cancel (clutch and brake both cancel my cruise though), and no buttons to resume or accel. This isn't a dire matter since my cruise will still work, but I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my cars and this will continue to bother me until I figure it out.
Do you guys have any suggestions other than giving the dealership my keys, a bottle of lube and the all-clear to do what they need to do?

That's pretty weird that all of the other cruise control functionality works. You can either obtain a digital copy of the Helms manual and attempt to trouble-shoot this yourself, or you can browse the classifieds for a part-out and try to source a replacement CC module.
