I cant promise any rare jdm items or anything of the sorts that would make this build elegant.
The only thing I can promise is that I will be posting nice quality pictures, lots.
I acquired a mint 06 crv k24a1 w/ 36k miles, complete long block, manifolds, wireharness and all the jive for $960.
Shortly followed by that I found a deal from a local dude on a complete 04 k20a2 head with supertech springs retainers and the guts for $600.
Then my boy stepped up and sold me his completely rust free, granada black 91 civc si hatchback, a complete rolling shell for $250.
The plans are to crank 240-250whp from a simple stock bottom end, semi built head, rrc and a functional header w/3inch exhaust.
This story will continue as I keep sourcing parts to complete this future index race car.
Thanks for looking and please any opinion or insight is valued!!

So once I got the engine home I hoisted it up and began to tear it down.

Once the crv head was taken off, I slapped the type s head on just for mocking up purposes.

Well this update is lame as all hell, Ive been crazy with everything. I havent put a finger on the car in the past 2+ weeks because I had to shoot a sweet 16, study for an lpn entrance exam, worked 60+ hours in a 6 day work week and I went camping this weekend lol. Nothing but excuses, anywho onto said update.
As I said in a couple posts back, the car is currently in tear down mode to receive an autopower roll cage and por15'd interior and other things I wont mention just yet.
There are no longer any wires in the engine bay, they were all pulled through the firewall.

I removed all the interior panels, heat core & blower motor, firewall matt carpet and every interior peice imaginable, All that remains is the complete body harness.

And the bin of guts, not pictured are the items that wouldnt fit lol

And some of the daily, which gets no love at all.

Well to say the least I am shot, my day started at 3:30am to take a ride up to New England to pick up a much needed 05 spec ep3 tranny. All in all it took about 9 hours round trip with some traffic here and there. When dealing with junkyards, most of them are stubborn and nickle and dime you on every peice imagainable. This tranny comes complete for the most part except no half shaft. However all sensors are there, tranny mount and the slave

One wheel peel
The LSD will make it in there eventually.

I also got a good amount of work done on the shell but we ran late into the night and I couldnt snap any pics. I will share next update though!

That and world peace!!
Didnt really get any work done today except for starting to clean up the tranny a little bit. Just wanted to snap some flicks of the work we got done Friday night as far as prepping the interior for the cage and rust prevention paint.

Removed the tranny mount and both of the pressed in studs came out along with it lol

The progress from Friday night

Then I made an interesting observation. I bought this car from my og buddy Jose, it had a B16 in it. What I didnt notice was that the rear mount, the mount that I thought bolts into the subframe was welded in.
