Default Head gasket thickness for H22 turbo build

I bought a block for my turbo build with darton mid sleeves already in it. It turns out the block was milled down about .030 in so my weisco forged pistons were sticking out of the block about .015 in. So generously CP pistons cut the pistons down for free so they are now flush with the deck. The original compression ratio of the pistons was 8.5:1 and now since the pistons edge was milled, this raised the compression a little bit since the dish in the piston was raised a little bit. My question is should I get a thicker head gasket to bring back the stock deck height or just get a standard .030 in gasket and be fine with a little higher compression ratio for turbo set up? I also have adjustable timing gears since I know that any milling of deck or head can change timing a little bit.

As long as you trust your tuner, you should be good with a stock gasket. The slight increase in compression will help your spool time and low end torque a bit as well.

Use a compression calculator to find out your estimated C/R. You can see what different head gasket thicknesses will do to your compression.
Thicker head gaskets can be stronger anyway.
