I have a friend with a set of H&R sport springs from his 93 Si that he will sell me for $50. Will these fit my 89 DX hatch properly? He said they will but I'm not sure about the difference in spring heights from the 88-91 and 92-95 models. If they will fit right, would the drop be about the same?

 

they will fit but the drop wont be the same...it will look stock..i put neuspeed race springs off an 92-95 civic on my dads 88 civic and it did not even look lowered..and neuspeeds are one of the lowest springs out there..i would buy it for 50 bucks and sell it for more..

 

How would there be that much difference in the height of the springs from those years? When you buy Skunk2's and other coilover sleeves they are made for 88-00 Civic/CRX/Integra. If there was that much a difference then I think they would make different springs heights for the coilovers too. Anyone else have knowledge with this?
