Default Fuel Lines ?

I'm getting ready to instale my inline fuel pump and filter. What size lines do u recomend 6 or 8? It's the MSD pump and paxtone filter on an all motor.

Second just so I do it right. It goes fuel cell, line, filter, line, pump ,line to fuel rail. Any pics of your guys setups would help.
Thanks
Ryan

6al is all you need for an all motor set up. maybe if you were running methanol i would say bigger.

That was going to be my next question what would it take for me to run methanol. I have a jg reline head witha a basic ls vtec set up. I have a one gallon fuel cell would that be enough for a burnout stage and race?

i am not completely knowledgable about the use of methanol however as i understand it, you need somewhere in the neighborhood of twice the fuel. 1 gallon tank might not be quite enough. perhaps 1 1/2 or 2 gallons? maybe someone else on here knows a little. and be prepared to blow motors. using meth for the first time is like jumping into the ocean and kinda knowing a little bit about swimming. its a pretty large learning curve.

Id run the filter before your pump unless you dont care about the life of your pump...thats the way you have it. If your gonna run meth, you cant have any aluminum in line...thats fuel cell, lines, pump (yours most likely wont work) and rail. 1 gallon cell should be plenty on a all motor car for meth...Mike

why dont you run two filters one before and one after the pump. that is the way i like to do it.

It's not the I haven't figured everything out, I like to get opinons form these guys. They know way more than any person around here. So far I have nothing but postive advice that has helped me out a lot. I was thinking about running meth but I just want to get the thing running, two years to long. I still need a fly wheel, Diff, and throtle body and then it needs to be wired.

Fellas what racing fuel do you reccomend and octane?

Thanks
Red

personallly id just run the harness you have and the chipped ecu for a while untill you get used to your car at the track and then upgrade to hondata or sds or AEM EMS......or whatever you want to go with.....then tune from there!
