Default Manual rack and pinion instead of Power

Hi I am currently trying to get my car to pass an out of province inspection and need to replace my steering rack. I currently have a power steering rack and have thought about saving a couple hundred dollars and putting in a manual rack.

Is this possible with out modifying to much? Direct swap?

I have a 67 caddy with manual steering so this civic should be no problem at all.
