Car shakes at a complete stop
Hey guys.
I have a 2001 Accord w/ ~ 70K miles and sometimes it shakes when I come to a complete stop. It first happened about a month, but I figured no big deal could have been the gas or something. However, it happened again on Thursday and also on Friday. I'm thinking it might be the spark plugs? But I took to a mechanic and he told me that he's sure its the transmission.
No check engine light is on and this happened once a day on those two days. Any suggestions?
THanks.

Shakes as in its more severe than having AC on and coming to a complete stop. Not sure if that makes sense. But you can definitely feel the car shaking and its more noticeable than having the AC on.
I'd look at your motor mounts first, they can go bad and would cause vibrations at idle.
Have someone rev the car while you look at the mounts - if you see any weird flex/cracks it could very well be them.
If the car is idling correctly (~700-800 rpm) then my guess is the mounts. I doubt it is your transmission.
