Default Need serious engine help!

Hi! brand new to the forum, hopefully to get a direction on where to start next with my car. Basically I hydrolocked my K20a2 100k engine and dropped in another with about 50k using same trans, ecu, and wire harness from the old motor. The car runs completely perfect once you get past 2500 rpms on the highway. I can get the car to idle, but half the time it wants to stall out just sitting there, especially with the ac on. It stalls out everytime on the highway if I throw it in neutral, it just cant catch the rpms falling or even just coming to a stop sign slow. From a stop with the AC on it bogs so much that i cant even get out of first gear(sometimes I can floor it with it and it wont go past 2k rpms.) The car seems like its getting bad gas mileage right now too.

Now I already replaced IACV, swapped throttle body with all sensors from new to old motor with same issue, and swapped injectors with fuel rail from both motors with the same issue. Already been to 3 mechanics(including dealership) telling me to check different things, with no luck. Compression looks good across all cylinders and timing looks spot on. The only codes that im pulling is P1298 which is the ELD, and P0172 Bank 1 running rich. Tried swapping plugs, doing the idle learn every change I make, and checked multiple times for vacuum leaks. Starting to get real expensive and I dont know what to start looking at next. Any input would be a great help. Thanks!

Welcome to Honda-Tech

I would replace the ELD module and go from there. I know they can cause all kinds of problems when they go bad.

You might want to post this on clubrsx.com too, they know EVERYTHING there is to know about DC5's.
