Icon2 D16z6 with b7 Ecu

I have a d15b7 with a bad head I am gonna put a z6 head on it this weekend and was wondering if I can use my stock b7 ecu for a couple weeks. I just don't have the money for a new ecu right now. Will get one next payday and know which one I need just need to know if it will run?

run a z6 ecu when u can but it would be better to run a chipped ecu to get the most out of the motor. it will run on the b7 ecu but i wouldn't be ripping on it hard. as long as the b7 ecu is mpfi not the dual carb
