da wont start
I have power to lights annd windows. But it just wont turn over or even start. When I turn the key there is just nothing.. it work when I jumped it and it worked perfect this morning. Where should I start?
But, if when you say you "jumped it", you mean you jumped power directly to the starter using a wire from the battery's "+" terminal to the starter, then you have a wiring/corrosion/ignition-switch problem.
As mentioned, you need to clarify "jumped it".

Sorry guys, when I mean jumped I meant off a friends car battery. So I jumped it, it worked for a bit. Then a few hours later I had to jump it again. Then I can drive it for another few hours then same thing. All help appreciated.
For state-of-charge (key OUT):
- turn headlights ON for five minutes
- turn headlights OFF again, and wait another five minutes
- check across the battery terminals with a multimeter set to DCV.
You should find 12.65V. If you find less than 12.65V, the battery is partially discharged, and may be incapable of holding and delivering full-power.
For system voltage:
- start engine.
- set a multimeter for DCV and check between the battery's terminals.
You should find more than 14V. If you find closer to 13V, the alternator is not charging sufficiently. If you find more like 12V, the alternator is not charging at all.
Or just take the car to any batt./alt. shop, [Interstat Batteries] and have them do a proper charging system check, it will be free, it takes about 5 min. or less, it will tell you the condition of the batt., what the output of the alt. is, [volts/amps].
Your problem may be as simple as a poor ground connection, so I would check them first, batt. post/cable clamp, batt. to chassis and chassis to engine.
Do not just eyeball these connections, remove them, clean both contact surfaces and reconnect, making sure the connections are tight. 94

Either the battery's dying, or it's not charging properly. Have you checked the battery's state-of-charge? Have you checked the system voltage with the engine running?
