Whats the best Kind of trans fluid
You can use a normal 10W30 if you want....
But I did that with my Civic D15B transmission for a week. Hated it. It just doesn't shift the same. Feel notchier, like a german transmission.
If you like the "knife through butter" feeling, you need genuine Honda MTF. Don't know how it differs from normal oil, but you can feel the difference.

Used Honda transmission fluid for a couple years now but have always had a pretty bad 3rd and 4th gear grind. Needed something a bit thinner and decided to put Royal Purple 10w-30 in there for the mean time, works great actually. Still grinds, but not near as often.
i use BG syncroshift II with BG friction additive. no problems damn near no lift shifting to 9000rpm. of course the twin disk prolly plays a big role in that too
