The motor in the 01 hydrolocked. So i had a spare motor in my garage from a 98 accord ex. The 01 motor has a 1 plug dizzy while the 98 motor has a 2 plug dizzy. I ended up depining the 2 plug dizzy and made it compatible for the 01 engine harness. Now the problem i have is that its throwing a cel for "TDC". Is there anyway to bypass the TDC ?
No, you'll have to wire it up correctly; otherwise, car won't run at all or will run shitty. Have you try to just swap the dizzy where you keep your one plug dizzy on the 98 motor? Should bolt right in.

car does start but it has trouble starting.
it takes about 2-3 cranks to get it to turn over, but once it turn over it idles right around 800-1k rpm.
yes i did try and keep the other dizzy on their, but it wasnt getting no spark. the dizzy for the (2 plug) 98 motor has coil, cap, & sensors in it, while the dizzy for the (1 plug) 01 motor only has coil & cap inside of it. which is why i figure, if i try and use the dizzy for the matching motor, it might run.
