Putting price aside are there any benefits to choosing one over the other? I know most people are going to say to run GC because everyone runs them. But I assume there has to be some differences. Does anyone have experience with both?

Pretty sure they are both anodized aluminum, not sure what grade aluminum each of them are.

Here is the Koni Sleeve:



Looking at the picture up close the Koni sleeve looks like it locks with a set screw. I don't think I like that design much. I could be wrong without seeing them in person. I know the GC Collar has a clamp style collar, which seems a bit less prone to movement.

I went with the Koni sleeves and 2.5" spring adapter over the Ground Control because I was paranoid about the GC sleeve being open at one end and thus being a weak point. I have never heard of an issue and am sure the GC engineers did their homework. I really like that when you tighten the GC spring perch, the retaining bolt doesn't touch the threaded sleeve like the Koni setup but figured once I had the car set right, I wouldn't be adjusting it much anyway which has been true.

I really don't think you could go wrong either way.

Hmmm thanks for the replies. Do you have any better pics of the Koni? The stock photos don't really show me anything like how thick the body is etc.

Is there a specific reason you went with 2.5" spring?
