Hi there.

Last night I tried to trade a fellow my set of wheels for his ssr type x wheels off of his eg hatch. I bolted em up to my car and thought everything was fine. But when I drove away they had a weird wobble (mostly from the rear)

I checked it out and they were not centered, (i even used his blox lug nuts) The backside of the wheel seems to have a specific center bore to fit the eg, but the raise center bore on my ek sedan is much smaller. And for some reason the lugs don't center it.

We really want to trade wheels, so is there something Im missing here?? How do I make these fit? Thanks.

 

Maybe some hubcentric rings? A good idea for any generic aftermarket wheel. Never run without 'em.

 

0.25 inch spacers or maybe a bit bigger

 

Did his car have hub centric rings? Are sure he had the right wheels for his car in the first place?

1982 to 2000 (maybe up to 2005) use the same wheel offset.
