I am fairly new to Honda and would like to add a front strut brace to my 94 Civic DX. Will the stock bar from a 99 Civic SI fit?

If not, are there any low cost bars that can be recommended?

Is the AC Autotech bar any good?

It will fit. Not sure if your car is pre-drilled though. If not, you'll need to drill mounting holes.

 

Unless it's a 3 point bar don't waste your time.

 

I myself own a Carbing 3pt. but honestly with the soft firewall on Honda's it really doesn't make a difference. Realistically the MC brace made the most difference when I installed the bar.

 

My Benen makes a slight difference. Slight. I have a M/C brace that I've never installed.

 

I could "feel" a difference when I went from stock to Benen 3-point. But I won't install a 3-point on a daily driver since the cowl area will get annihilated in even a small accident.

Personal preference.
