Default Newly swap f20b on CD5

Hi,

I just swapped my old f20 SOHC A/T to a new F20B A/T. I have noticed that moving the shifter to D4 it jerks a bit unlike my old transmission, and the first shifting of the transmission changes at around 2.8K-3K rpm and it jerk bigtime, what could be the problem is? a bad transmission possibly?

If you feel like your getting rear ended then its the torque converter or the solenoid in front on the tranny. Try draining the tranny fluid n use genuiene honda fluids

i think there's also a so-called "kick back" cable, which you can adjust to vary (slightly) when the transmission shifts with respect to the engine speed. seeing that you did a huge engine swap, that cable might possibly need to be recalibrated.

If it was that it would shift in higher rpm's or wouldnt shift at all and it would do it every gear. His problem sounds more like fluid pressure problems. The more speed the tranny has the more pressure it has. So somewhere his tranny doesnt make enough pressure at the start
