That's some pretty epic VTEC there ... what are your mods?

Sounds like you have some kind of large plenum aluminum intake manifold.

Actually it's pretty much stock everything just very minor stuff. Pretty Cool huh? If you listen carefully you can hear the secondary butterflies pop open at 4,600rpm right right before 4,900rpm vtec. I love that sound so much.

BTW - I had a couple hundred lbs of metal and a huge hydraulic jack in the trunk as well as my damn near 100 lb. tool box. I'm interested to see if weight really makes a difference.

when someone goes "whats vtec?" or "I HAZ NO VTAK????" this is the sound they need to hear to understand.

Ah ... imbalanced VTEC crossover ... the reason its that loud is that the crossover point isn't tuned to be smooth, you're actually getting a severe instantaneous power drop off from it.

You should get it tuned.
