Default question about a random plug

so i came across a random plug that was not hooked up to anything and just wanna see if it is supposed to look like that or does it actually hook up to a sensor. on to the pics:




this is on an 01 prelude with stock h22. no abs **** neither

There is a vacuum box that controls a diaphragm for the intake resonator, it may be for that if the previous owner pulled all that stuff out since you have an aftermarket intake.

ya there is currently an aem cai. that could possibly be the issue
